Analysis The Garden of Love

Halo.... pasti lagi nyari tugas poem The Garden of Love punya William Blake yach...?
Saya juga dapet tugas mengulas puisi tersebut, sulit memang... tapi masih bisa diusahakan. Baca terus sampai tuntas ... akan saya ulas satu per satu... baris per baris... bait per bait...

The Garden of Love

I went to the Garden of Love,
And saw what I never had seen;
A Chapel was built in the midst,
Where I used to play on the green.

And the gates of this Chapel were shut
And "Thou shalt not," writ over the door;
So I turned to the Garden of Love
That so many sweet flowers bore.

And I saw it was filled with graves,
And tombstones where flowers should be;
And priests in black gowns were walking their rounds,
And binding with briars my joys and desires.

Tugasnya sebagai berikut:
1. The speaker in this poem describes the garden of love as he remembers it from his innocent youthhand as it appears to him now. What was the garden like in the past? How has it changed? How does the speaker feel about these changes?
2. Explain the last allusion in the last line of the poem!
